4 month old battery probs on ipod

-got an ipod four months ago and now when i charge it it only goes to one third battery bar and then says it's charged. WTF apple wheres your quality control at, because this is my second ipod because the first one came with a broken fw cable and i forced them to replace it. remember when apple cared? I'm not old enough to remember.:mad: :mad: :mad:

Have you tried resetting your iPod and what is your "actual" battery life in hours despite the meter reading 1/3. The current firmware 2.1, is renown for giving inaccurate measurements of battery life. Remember it's better that you charge the iPod via the power adapter plugged into an electrical outlet rather than charging it through the firewire cable connected to the back of your computer.

charge with you powerbrick, try a reset. the meter isnt actually very accurate.

but yeah after i fully charge mine it says half then a couple mintues later it shows a full charge,

kinda annoying
