I'd like to make the above, so I can bot up from my external drive, archive and install, etc, also have a partition with a fully functional OS system on, and also a data partition..
My OSX install discs come on 2 dvds - mines a late 2007 Blackbook leopard.
can I consolidate the two dvds into one bootable partition? or if I put them into 2 partitions will the OS recognise this and install from 2 partitions?
I'd ideally create a bootable install partition, a bootable OSX partition, and a data partition..
any advice would be gratefully accepted!
Cheers
