I work for a small company that is moving into a new office space. We're looking for a super-clean way to connect laptops to a wall-mounted TV. Dropping a cord from the ceiling is not an option, and routing one on the floor is no good either. We do have a counter on one side of the room that we may just set a Mac Mini on and use with a wireless KB/mouse, but we think it would be slick if we could carry in a laptop, open it up, and *poof* be connected to the screen in seconds. 😀

Any ideas?

For real time work, not so much,

if you want to have one person working, while the others can look on on the big screen, look into remote desktop.
I have a mini setup as a media center for my main TV, and sometimes use remote desktop to access it. (When i'm in the living room i'm on N). not that i regularly watch video over remote desktop, but it does come across, although very jerky, 1 or 2 frames a second.

You would have to see if there is much of a delay in your usage, and it might be workable to use the mouse/keyboard on you laptop, but work off the big screen.

check out the following link to see about making it full screen.

and now the followup, as i realize i had lost all the extra buttons shown in the above link
