How can you make it so that when an external display is connected to a macbook, and you close the lid of the macbook, it keeps running (haven't received either macbook or display yet, so forgive me if it is obvious). Thanks.
You need an external keyboard or mouse or both in order to wake it from sleep once closed. I believe the bluetooth keyboard and mouse also wake it from sleep but I can't confirm that.
waking with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse can be configured in Keyboard & Mouse preferences. also the power cord has to be plugged in to run MacBooks in 'closed lid mode'.
