Yesterday i finally decided to jailbreak my iphone and give it a try... everything seems cool but i cant open the dialer or my favorites or recent calls without it crashing? Is anyone else experiencing this? And Is there a way i can restore to original without losing my contacts?

I have not had this problem but if you want to restore to original you can. All your contacts and settings will be there as long as your phone backed up at some point in the recent past.

Yes, it is the only way for 2.1 at this point. You can try downloading the custom 2.1 ipsw rather than making your own however. Give that a shot. I used it and had no problems on my 3G.

well i decided to go back to the original firmware until the jailbreaking crack is more stable.. not being able to end phone calls or viewing your recent calls is a pain in the ass.. dialer and favorites always crashing.. hopefully it gets better

Still having that problem after a restore and re-Jailbreak huh? That's weird. I don't have an answer for that. Can anyone else comment? Confuzed? You out there?
