How to get photos from a video using iMovie?

i'm using iMovie for the first time and i have a problem with exporting photos from a video...is there an option that makes screenshots of a movie every second? 😕

Select "EXPORT" from the "FILE" menu, select "EXPERT SETTINGS", then select "MOVIE TO IMAGE SEQUENCE", click "OPTIONS", choose the FPS you wish. Done.

It's going to be barely worth it unless the movie is 1080p... The resolution of a movie is exceptionally low...

the quality is not important, the movie is just a part of my project i need it just to capture a movement.
