If so what did they say?

In my opinion it's quite a mediocre screen for a 1500 euro kit.

PS. I've tried several different profiles, among them the pstube's one.

Only way I know is:

System Preferences-->Displays-->Color-->Open Profile

then scroll down to the header MMOM or something like that, there are names to the right. Only been using OS X for 5 hours, so there may be a better way.

I also have 00009C8C screen. It looks good as long as I look at the screen straight.:D

Look like I got a 9C89 too :/
Now that I look more closely, my screen is horrible. I have to look at it dead straight to get good colors.

Even when I look at it straight the whites are never white. No matter what profile I try. (I've tried 12).

I called Apple today. They told me I should get a replacement from the store I bought it at.

Thing is, I doubt a new unit will not have the exact same screen.

I even doubt if the 9C8C or 9C5E are really better.
