I'm upgrading a Mac mini, mostly because I need a notebook for school and got a sweet deal for one on Craigslist.

$950cdn(750USD) got me:

- A mid 2007 black Macbook 2.16GHZ C2D
- 4GB RAM(this thing SCREAMS compared to my mini)
- 320GB HDD(7200RPM)
- Wireless N(I can finally take advantage of my AEX)
- Apple care till november 2010.

:D First notebook of my own: Blackbook. 10/28/08.

hey, do you mind me asking where you found this? I am currently in the market for a new macbook and I don't think I can afford one of those new ones, as cool as they look.

About this Mac recognizes all 4GB though. Is only 3.3GB useable?

I was just browsing around craigslist.com(choose your city) and found this deal. You should find tons on Craigstlist, eBay, and the Marketplace on these very forums.

Yes, check in the Activity Monitor. Your chipset does not support over 3.3 GB RAM as yours is pre-SantaRosa.
