I have a macbook 13in and last night I went to put it to sleep and it froze. I let it sit for about an hour and nothing changed. I shut it down using the power button and now when I try to turn it on it makes the wake up sound and just stays on a grey screen. After a while a little file picture with a question mark shows up. Any info would be great.

Sounds like your harddrive died if it's within warranty they'll fix it for you but you will have lost everything on that drive unless you backed up

I can feel the hard drive spinning. I bought it used and don't have a startup disk. Where would I get a startup disk for tiger.

Call Apple and have your model/serial number ready and they can help you out. I don't know how much they will charge though.

There is a dire need for grammar police on the internet these days. People who are native english speakers can't write their own language properly.
