Fact:

But McCain has his own connection to Khalidi.

In 1993, McCain became chairman of the International Republican Institute. He still chairs that respected organization.

That same year, Khalidi helped found the Center for Palestine Research and Studies, self-described as “an independent academic research and policy analysis institution” created to meet “the need for active Palestinian scholarship on issues related to Palestine.” (Its archived website is HERE.)

Khalidi was on the board of trustees through 1999.
According to tax returns the McCain-chaired IRI funded the organization Khalidi founded and served on to the tune of $448,873 in 1998 (click HERE to see the tax return)* as first reported by Seth Couter Walls at HuffPo.

This could really be a like a poker game if they wanted it to be:

"I'll see you one Khalidi connection, and raise you a Keating Five"

"I'll counter with Ayers and Wright"

"I'll raise you an Iran-Contra affair"

Geez, I can't wait for this crap to be over!

McCain has been negative for about 5 weeks now with no bump in the polls. It's not working. Who the hell is running this campaign?

At least Obama is being lighthearted about all these attacks. Link (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/29/obama-sharpens-tone-again_n_138915.html)

Now, because he knows that his economic theories don't work, he's been spending these last few days calling me every name in the book. Lately he's called me a socialist for wanting to roll-back the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans so we can finally give tax relief to the middle class. I don't know what's next. By the end of the week he'll be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten. I shared my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Lovin' it! I was afraid they were actually going to go positive on the last stretch and lure back a few alienated voters, but clearly they have no intention to stop digging themselves deeper into the hole. Hmm... let's see. Vote for the candidate with a message of hope, change and unity, or the one with a message of fear, despair, status quo and division?

Country First, my ass. I shudder to think I supported this guy in 2000. See his latest ad in the link below.
