Mine will arrive in San Diego Monday.

mine has shipped as well. Should be at my door on Monday. Hey camarobh did your order next day shipping? I ordered next day shipping but I guess it is really not next day if it takes them until monday to ship mine. Should I inquire about a refund for the shipping charge?

Those that shipped can you please include what version? My present theory is that only SSD versions are shipping - maybe the whole original delay was for the hard drives since that seems to be the one different/new component compared to all the others in the MB line.

I ordered it with "upgraded shipping" which I think was 2 day (only option that I was given).

I ordered the 1.86 SSD as well.

Mine says 'Prepared for shipment' as well.. It changed status a couple of hours ago though.. I'm guessing they're trying to achieve a Tuesday arrival date, which will be the official release date for the Air... Oh and it's election day too!! OBAMAIR!

apple store now says macbook air is shipping in 3-5 days!!! :D

edit: only the 1.86 ghz model is shipping.

Called a local Manhattan store, they still aren't in. I presume some will be tomorrow or some time next week. Anyone remember how it worked with the first gen one?

damn it my package is at my local facility. i am not sure if it will make it on today's truck. i still have an estimated delivery date of monday nov. 3. Am i able to go to the local facility and pick up my package without a delivery attempt??

If you have a tracking number, you can call your local facility be it Fedex or UPS and check to see if it is still on the truck or if it has been returned to the facility. Here in VA, they are open for customer pickup until around 9:00pm. Maybe you'll be lucky and have your new rig for the weekend.

Please, please run Xbench on it when you get the Air ..will only take 2-3 minutes and you can upload the results to Xbench for free. This will answer lots of questions for everybody who is looking at the Air and did not pull the trigger yet ...like me :P

I asked 2 guys there, and they both have mixed answers. They kinda say you can but they're not really sure too...

Guess I'll try around first, if not then I can just call the 1800 number and ship it right back cause it'll be still inside the box and all when it arrives. :)

Yeah. Getting mine through work, so I may as well wait until next week; I bet it will just complicate everything… I can see the Apple Store employees scratching their heads now.
