My trusty 17" 1.67GHz Powerbook G4's (running OS X 10.4.11) motherboard died a few weeks ago... Boo hoo, right?

I have since then scraped the Powerbook for parts (retaining the HDD) and purchased a used 2.0Ghz Black Macbook. I am now trying to retrieve my important files off my Powerbook's drive via a Macally PHR-250A USB2.0 Enclosure for 2.5" HDD...

I plopped the old HDD into the enclosure and connected it to my Macbook,,, I can feel the HDD spinning up in the enclosure, but it will not show up in the Finder (yes I choose, Finder/Pref/Show External Disks). It DOES however show up in Disk Utility, however repair functions are grayed out. So now I'm stuck...

How can I best access and retrieve the files I need off my old Powerbook's (OS X 10.4.11) 2.5" drive onto my Macbook's (OS X 10.5) drive via this 2.5" HDD USB Shell? Any advise would be appreciated.

Thousand thank-you's in advance!!!

AJ
