there was an interesting report on apple on the channel 4 news with an interveiw of the guy behind the imac bigist mac thing ive seen on tv in a long time

yeah i watched it too. It was on Channel 4-News at 7, and it was an interview of Jonathan Ive, about the new mac and ipod designs, it was pretty cool seeing apples on tv in UK

What was the context of the news item? Was it a design award ? I know that Jonathan Ive has been nominated and won some in the past.

just an interveiw from a bitter sounding reporter. nice that apple is geting some attention from the british media

ipod battery issues were highlighted but "no comment" came up

It was just a discussion of desighn and a breif history of apple and there zealalot fans (aka us)
