how do i switch my current phone to iphone?

im already on att plan i have a 8252 and i just bought a iphone 2.0, so how to i get the service over on the iphone? im already on a contract with att

Plug the iPhone into your computer, load iTunes and follow the prompts to pick your plan, port your number (if you want) and set up the phone. It's pretty idiot proof, just don't unplug it until it tells you it's activated and you should be golden
