Simple wallpaper maker

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone knows of a simple way of constructing a desktop wallpaper from a few photos. I have a handful of photos (in iphoto) of my nephew and I wanted to construct a simple desktop wallpaper with these. Is their a way to do it, without needing buy photosop sftware ect.? I don't need a slick proffesional result with any snazzy effects, just the photos in one image.
