It's become obvious she's out for herself and not the campaign.
Sarah Palin campaigned in Erie, Pennsylvania, yesterday and blasted Democrats for allegedly wanting to cut funding from the Pentagon budget.
"We're fighting two wars, with a force strength in need of rebuilding, not in being gutted," Palin said. "And they [Democrats] think it's the perfect time to radically reduce defense spending? What are they thinking?"
Yes, what kind of monster would decide, in the midst of two wars, to cut defense spending? Why, to hear Palin tell it, you'd have to be some kind of nut to even think about reducing Pentagon funding right now.
With this in mind, it's probably an inconvenient time to point out that John McCain has promised to reduce defense spending.

at this point it's obvious that the mccain/palin ticket is in a desperate "say anything" mode.
what they don't get is people want hope...they're done with fear.
the last 8 years of fear have turned the voters off to that rhetoric.
and sadly, mccain/palin obviously have nothing else to offer.

Meh... why spend on defense when you have a secret weapon (http://inthefield.blogs.cnn.com/2008/10/31/mccains-secret-weapon/):

Unnerving. An appalling woman, an appalling party and an administration that must surely rank as the worst ever in US history. Do the world a favour, folks, next week. Just vote them out of office. We'll all sleep safely in our beds, then.
Cheers

Holy crap, I know it's Halloween, but be careful!
I know I know, incredibly insensitive, but old people generally piss me off anyway. Doing 40mph in a 65 zone does NOT make you a safe driver!

Damn. This really brings to light how stupid--no completely moronic and idiotic--Palin is. I am still wondering why in the world McCain picked Palin to be the VP, who has more than enough chance to become the president, if something happens to McCain.
And besides, if this is the indication of the thought process inside McCain's head to select a VP, what will it be like when McCain becomes President and has to choose judges to the Supreme Court?

Speaking of Palin... where'd her medical records go? She promised them 11 days ago. 3 days before the election, still nothing.
Mental health issues...?
Twelve abortions...?
Heart condition...?
Epilepsy...?
Female and male genitalia...?
Removal of guinea pig from rectum...?

I'd rather spend that time and effort in to pushing for motor vehicle law reform. ;)

Speaking of Palin...
In that vein, did anyone at all see LIVE on Friday morning, with Kelly Ripa as Sarah??
Funnier than Tina Fay, IMHO.
Suffer through the cute kid in the commercial.
