Claro Honduras iPhone warranty??

So I got my iPhone from Claro Honduras and they are trying to tell me that the warranty is only good for 6 months. What gives, is this even possible or are they just trying to rip people off? 😱

I'm pretty sure you still get the Apple warranty that lasts you a year. I hope?

My Iphone is from Claro Nicaragua, and my warranty is 1 year long.
