Found out yesterday that I won a few addys in this year's local competition. This thread is the equivalent of me jumping up and down in joy. :)

that about sums it up - Advertising awards. We won for a :30 television commercial, which I had very little to do with, but my kids were in it. More importantly, I won one for a logo design of my own, so this one goes in the portfolio with a gold star :D

I dunno what form they'll take this year - sometimes it's a little certificate that denotes what you've won, and sometimes it's lucite statues. I see the image they have on their site, but I think that's for regional/national winners, and not local level - however, usually the local follows the bigger contest, but in a scaled-down fashion.

I've got a lucite block from a few years ago for another one, but it's been certificates since then. We'll see - awards banquet is at the end of this month.
