MY ipod has a rainbow like effect on the screan HELP!

They all do, especially with certain sunglasses. AppleCare will tell you the same, as they did to me.

I left my iPod in a plastic bag with a ripe banana for four or five hours once, and it made the rainbow effect go from barely noticeable to markedly pronounced. Now I try to keep my iPod well separated from any source of ethylene or other volatile organic compounds.

mine it VERY VERY visable and when i called they said thats not right send it in! SHOULD i! but also i was wondering the back of my ipod keeps popping off should their careplan fix that!

If it's under warranty and they say to send it, send it.

What did you do to it to get the back to pop off. They're hard enough to get off on purpose!

send it in but if you make the request via the net describe the problem or via the phone make sure they know what they ahve to fix because they will only fix the problems described.

ya i said that the screan was having problems AND on the same report i put also the back keeps popping off! that should do right?
