Ok, let's start with cold hard facts :

I'm on a 2.2 SR MBP (2 Go Ram, 2.2 Ghz, 8600M GT)
I've installed Windows XP Pro SP2 under BootCamp.
I have all the latest BootCamp Driver. I've done the updates.

Normally i don't have sound problem in games.

but in recently installed Far Cry 2, there is a weird sound issue. In fact, if I don't plug anything in the Line Out, just play with the Internal Speaker of the MacBook Pro, everything is fine.

But as soon as I plug in Headphones, it's like i'm hearing just the "back left" and "back right" speaker of a 5.1 surround sound setup. I don't hear walking, reloading and some "instrument" in the music of the opening sequence are just absent.

So, anybody have an idea how to fix this in Windows. (in FarCry 2 the only sound options are "Music on/off" and Sound volume.)
