I just went to apple.com to see if the mac mini was still available...and as soon as I clicked the mini, I got the store is down message!

I think they're releasing SOMETHING that's not hardware - perhaps iWork '09? iLife '09?

While they said their product lineup is set for the holidays, Apple did NOT say that their software would remain static.

Another possibility is that there are tons of accessories for the new notebooks that they had to take the whole store down to add them, but I hope this isn't the case.

It's back up! From what I can tell right now it's been updated to reflect the Christmas season.

iTunes store still doesn't work... Can't download stuff.. hope they will fix this soon.

The only thing new I saw was the notebook cases. They finally updated them for the new 15" macbook pros. Before when you clicked on cases it would say "No products available."
