Wow. No beachballs at all. Sounds great to me! Now if only the price could come down just a little more...

No mention of impact to battery life though.

Yes, no beachballs sounds very impressive. (The beachballs bother me in a way that MS's little hourglass never quite managed). Other than that, very interesting to see how SSD technology is now a feature of some models of the MBP. Eventually, it should migrate to all Apple models.

Agreed about the beachballs. Even the BSOD wasn't as bad as the beachball that spins for hours for NO reason at all.

The SSD is offered on all of the Apple laptops sans the white MacBook. The only other machine that it could be placed in is the MacMini, and who knows if that thing will ever see an update.
