Has anyone tried that beautiful (900$ - 23 inch) Apple LCD cinema screen? The thing is so spendy, but man that is nice! I'm using a late 2008 model Macbook (x3100), just curious if anyone here uses this monitor for their macbook, how it performs, how you like it, ect.
EDIT: This is the monitor http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/apple-cinema-display-23/4505-3174_7-30964608.html?tag=mncol;lst
Thanks

If you meant the new 24" one, it won't work - there are no MiniDVI to Mini DisplayPort adaptors.

If you want an LCD, get the new 24" one. Has better things to it. Also, old LCDs are just a waste of cash.

Okay, honesty moment:
If the new LED display is NOT out of your price range, I say wait. It won't work with your MB at the moment because it has a Mini Displayport and no adapter exists that would get it working on your MB. However, because the display isn't even out, something might come around.
If you would spend the money on the new one if you could, I'd wait it out since all reports are that it's a glorious display, and it'd be a shame if you got this one and a month later discovered you could have gotten the newer one.

It won't. The ACD's are a waste of cash, go for a third party.
