just got iphone 3g sealed how to activate for tmobile?

hi there,

i just got my iphone 3g that i got off ebay which came sealed in the box. i also purchased a gevey sim and wanted to know what i had to do to get it to work with tmobile? do i need to jailbreak it? connect it to itunes?

If by a 'Gevey' sim is like a Turbo Sim, ie: allowing you to use the iPhone unofficially on another network, all you need to do is activate.

I may be wrong, but you can set Pwnage tool and Quickpwn to activate the iPhone for you, the same time as the Jailbreak.
 
What? You shouldn't have to jailbreak or use quickpwn. Just slide it in the tray with your sim card. To activate just connect it to itunes.
