Are there any ATV users out there who have Sling box set up to work with their ATV's? I'd like to stream ATV content to my laptop but was wondering if the quality is good enuff and which sling box to get, the old Pro version or the new HD version.

One more thing.... is it possible to share my account details with someone back in the UK so they can watch my content?

I'm not sure about the slingbox/ATV issue, but I can answer your second question. I used my slingbox while stationed overseas with great results. I had it hooked up at a relatives house in the states and had great quality american TV while out of the country. I'd recommend hooking it up to a DVR so you can watch shows on your own time schedule. The time zone changes make it difficult to watch your shows unless you have a DVR.

regarding the second question, you can give your credentials to others, but you can only have one client access the slingbox at a time. you cannot watch it simultaneously.

I found out that Apple TV can only stream HD to a slingplayer running on Windows, the Mac version is only capable of doing SD at this time. Sucks for sure.
