iTunes FTW!!! I love using iTunes for all of my media needs (Movies, TV Shows, Music, Podcasts, and don't forget Apps). Now that I have gone completely digital all I need is iTunes, my MacBook, Apple TV, and Time Capsule to back everything up to! It's the perfect setup for the future of digital downloads:D:apple::apple::apple:

So is this before or after the 'hosting and distribution' aspect of itunes store.

If its after I think they can afford to either knock the prices down or pay better royalties to artists (they wanted to keep the price the same remember). After all theres no printing, manufacturing type costs yet the album usually costs the same or more than a cd version.

As to it being the future of digital downloads - its far from it, I want to be able to use it how I want to and my htpc is a windows machine, sorry but the apple tv isn't good enough for me, meaning that quicktime and itunes playback are damn site worse than windows built in apps, hell even quicktime alternative is better than quicktime!.
