Activity monitor reports my Virtual memory size as 34.40 GB. Is that right?

Activity monitor reports my Virtual memory size as 34.40 GB. Is that right?

My MacBook sees 38.5GB VMMemory (I have 4GB Ram). So I think it must be fine then.
