so my iPhone was made in Nov 2007? Jobs introduced the iPhone in Jan 08 and didn't release the phone till June 08 (correct me if I am wrong). But they actually had working models that were ready to be sold to the public in Nov 2007?

A serial number contains no personal data whatsoever so it's harmless.
It just holds specs info and build info.
The serialnumber IS linked to personal information but only when a site like this is connected and interacting with Apple's database that holds the info and... only Apple can do that, not this site :)

You can download Hardware Monitor (nice app!) http://www.bresink.de/osx/HardwareMonitor.html
then check Window menu > Show Systeme Information.
Maybe that app can tell you where your mac was built, then you can submit your serialnumber on the site again and add it as a note :)
Would help the site out.
