I owned this MBP 2.2Ghz (Leopard, 2GB, 138MB Nvidia) since last September. Quite happy with the performance comparing with my old lovely powerbook G4. But, always bothered with the heat. Normally, it's fine after installed smc Fan Control. But if it simultaneously open more than three applications(normally Itune, Photo elements and Iwork Pages) the temperature can soaringly up to 60 centigrade. If switch to Windows XP, the heat can even goes insane. The fan noise is as some as a old hag's breath before suffocation, but the heat still hot enough match summer tin roof after a few minutes (wot i mean is just 15 mins) playing counter-strike:source. If I got a egg on it Anyone know how to solve the prob. Thanks

It's normal. I have exactly the same machine and it tends to get that hot.
All MBP's are like this its not just the 2.2 model.
