Hi,

I have just purchased the Elgato Turbo .264

It's great but I am trying to encode a lot of Friends DVDs. Unlike Handbrake, Elgato doesn't split the DVD into episodes, I simply get one 90 minute .m4v file with 4 episodes joined together.

How do I split them into separate episodes? I have QT Pro but when I cut one episode out and save it, it becomes a .mov file. Also, looking at the 'Export' menu looks like you have to choose a setting - I don't want to re-encode it, just split it!

Any ideas?

MadDoc,

Try using Mpeg Streamclip its free. open the file and you can cut, spit and export as mp4 or any other file format. This software has saved my bacon so many time and is good to have on hand.
