Hey guys i've been looking all day for a solution to my problem. Its easy to find a car charger for my iPhone 3G but finding one that is also compatible with an old school iPod 3G is another story. I've only found one product that works (Kensington LiquidAUX) but its a bit out of my price range. Does anyone have any ideas/solutions, any help is much appreciated.

How about the Griffin down at the ATT store.

Compatible with any iPhone and iPod with dock connector (excluding 3rd Generation iPod)

I think the apple website just has an error by saying the iPod 3G.

The iPod 3G uses firewire charging, while the iPhone 3G requires usb charging, so it seems very unlikely that any accessory will work, but maybe theres an exception that I don't know about.

I've just been using the iGo I already had from my previous phone with the iPhone 3G adapter tip on it- works perfectly for all of my iPods (1st Gen Mini, original Video) & the iPhone 3g.
