I have a powerbook g4 15inch 1.67 GHz.
My old battery had run out so whenever the power cable came out my mac would shut down instantly. so I bought a new battery which I flooded correctly, but when the cable comes out it lasts 4 seconds before turning off (so a slight improvement on the old). The old battery had none of its lights flashing, but the new one has all 5 on so it must work. Is it possible that the power isnt transferring properly to the battery?

Please help. my electricity bill is going to go through the roof!

Thank you very much :)
