It seems that Coolbook does not work with the new MBA. So, Is there another way to force the MBA to throttle better? It would help with MameOSX.

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't recommend overclocking the MBA, considering heat dissipation is as bad as it is...

In front of my MacBook Pro
The processor throttles itself to whatever speed it needs to be at. If you're running an intensive application and the notebook is relatively cool, it will run at full speed. After a while, it will throttle back to prevent overheating. If the application isn't very intensive, the processor will throttle back to save energy.

Im not looking to overclock it. I am looking for a way to keep the system at 1.86 while I run certain programs.

This was accomplished easily with coolbook. I hope a solution comes in the future.
