Purchased my Dual 2Ghz..

Well.. After waiting around for Apple to do SOMETHING (similar to the 15 inch powerbook updates last year...creepy.) I went ahead and ordered a Refurb Dual 2.0. (www.smalldog.com has them)

I was watching the Apple refurb section but they were sold out for the last week. However, Smalldog is expecting a shipment next Tuesday (13 machines.)

This gives me the best of both worlds. If Apple updates within the next week, I can still cancel and get the new midrange..if not, I'm on to top of the line bliss (may be short lived but oh well...)

It needs to support Two Towers (G5 and my PC), my 17 inch LCD and eventually my 20 inch Apple LCD (Working between PC and Mac with USB KVM)

nope no sales tax except in Vermont (I think)...I turned out like 20.00 cheaper than the apple refurb store...

I got some JBL Invaders to match my G5.

How are they working out?

I need to decide on speakers....I have 5.1s hooked up to my PC but they won't work with my G5 unless I put a sound card into it...So I'm thinking a good pair of 2.1s will do.....My dad has the Inspire 3500s which are nice. I'm down to the soundsticks, the creatures or the Inspires....
