Does anyone know if there is a chance that Apple might have some Black Friday deals this year? Will they have any deals on the Macbook? Have they ever had deals in the past? How do they work? Can you order online? Could you use a student discount on a Black Friday deal as well? Thanks!

No double discounting, Jethro.
Apple picks random products to receive 10% off. Sometimes. Don't count on anything.

If I recall correctly, the Black Friday discounts tend to focus on iPods. So student discounts wouldn't get you anything extra (since they don't exist).
Even if there are discounts on Macs, you likely won't be able to apply a student discount. (My guess is, the black friday deal would be equivalent to the student discount anyway).

With Apple you never know. Sometime on rare occasion His Jobness will fire up 10% discounts on iPod stuff, but nothing for Macs. But those discounts are not every year and is not Apple-like. Just don't keep your hopes up...

The Day after Thanksgiving in the US, when most retailers kick off the holiday shopping season with better-than-average sales.
