Whoa, Ian Curtis. Sadly, I never got into Xiu Xiu -- a few friends of mine would freak out about them, so i gave it a shot and felt it fell into the "boring" category along with Sigur Ros. It's just not my cup of tea.

I must say I'm still surprised at Jamie Stewart's rise to prominence. Seems like only yesterday he was fronting the Indestructible Beat of Palo Alto and self-releasing Bob Borango's Horror Boat cassettes. Glad to see such a fertile imagination get the love.
