Got mine delivered today, i'm in England. Sounds great, you can hear so much more detail than crappy normal apple earphones or my normal sony ex71. Pricey, but worth it!

I live on the East Coast, my Apple in-ear headphones was shipped from Tennessee yesterday (12/16) and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow (12/18).
Finally, after placing my order on December 3rd, my order was shipped today! :D :apple:
Status has been changed to "Prepared for Shipment", HURRAYYYY!!!!!!! :apple: :)
My order info:
Order Date: Dec 3, 2008 at 09:50 AM PST
Status: Not Yet Shipped
Yet a lot of people who placed their orders couple of days after me, received their orders or are at least in the process of receiving their orders, i am happy for them, but i am still patiently waiting... I realize it takes 7-10 business to ship the order, i am on my 8th day, hopefully they will ship mine before the 10th day.

Picked mine up this AM at the 5th avenue store. Have not actually listened to them yet, but they do fit nicely and aesthetically I am please.
I don't expect them to replace my everyday iPhone headphones from Ultimate Buds, but I could be pleasantly surprised. I really grabbed these because my main set is in for a cord replacement, and the other 3 pairs I've tried in the interim just havent cut it.
1-the apple stock phones hurt my ears.
2-Sennheiser m50 (the iphone version)...loved these, sweet price point, but one phone died after getting pinched in a door, but showed no evidence of the incident. too fragile I guess
3-sure, the entry level with their adapter....compared to all the above, I liked these the least...too much money to pay for an entirely too cumbersome package. Walking around the city with that adapter on....just looks so silly, and feels worse. Add in that all but the stock apple phones sound a great deal better and fit better for my tastes...they went back quickly.
So these, even if they don't supplant the UB phones, will be my workout pair, I think. If the sound matches the fit, these are a winner.

Got mine yesterday.
What a let down! Sounds awful. No bass at all! The stock headphones sounds way better.

I meant to get one 3 days ago. Then I changed my mind. Bad idea. Went yesterday and couldn't find them anymore.

I phoned a local Store today, they had some in stock. However they can't reserve them. So had to drive to the store to find out it had sold out.
Might be easier to give up and get them in the new year.

Anybody have theirs delivered on a Saturday by FedEx? Mine isn't scheduled for delivery until Tuesday AM and today, Saturday, it's scanned as "on FedEx truck for delivery"...even though it was initially scanned "not due for delivery yet". I know that FedEx Home Delivery delivers on Saturday...but this is via FedEx IP Direct Distribution (shipped from China).

Picked mine up a few days ago. If you're not going to use the mic, don't bother with these. Highs and lows were goodish - better than some phones that cost twice as much - but the mid-range was strangely cool and tinny. All in all, if it weren't for the mic, I would probably return them.

I have had IP Direct Distribution deliver on Saturday. However, I don't think they are required to. It may just be that FedEx is working overtime to get holiday packages delivered.
During the holiday season, they'll sometimes deliver packages earlier than required to lighten the delivery route the next day.
My poor FedEx guy delivered my Apple iPhoto calendar at 8:30 p.m. last night. That's well past their cut-off time.

Mines just shipped! It's fresh out of ShenZhen, China, trucked to and probably dumped into the plane in Hong Kong as I type. :D
Surprisingly fast since I ordered them 3 days ago. They must be striving to ship in time for Christmas. Even though I can't/won't use the built-in mic/remote, I could possibly save it for the next iPhone revision.
Wow FedEx is hella FAST. Apple gave me dates as far as Jan.4th, FedEx gave me dates as far as Dec.29th. Instead it got here 6 days early! :)
Then again it's like I paid for shipping if the tax never existed..

I posted this in another thread, thinking it was this one. Please excuse the repost:
Do these headphones block ambient noise well? I'm interested in them for riding on the motorcycle and would like them to replace my earplugs as well as provide some tunes for riding. With the regular ipod headphones I have to crank them up to 100% volume to hear anything at all on the freeway and that, combined with the road noise, will surely make me deaf in short order.
Has anyone tried these on the bike? How well do they muffle outside noise compared to earplugs or other in-ear headphones? Do they snag on helmets?

Picked up a pair at the Apple Store at Southpoint (Durham, NC) today. Still haven't opened them up to listen to them, though... my old in-ear headphones (the $40 variety) are about worn out, so I was due for a new pair anyway.

They block about 75% of the ambient noise if you get a nice fit in your ears. I don't know about helmets but maybe the remote/mic could be a problem for you. Some people say there's no bass but I think it's perfect. As long as you have a nice fit, it sounds awesome.
