unable to purchase from app store

Hi all,

I recently changed my email address. So i when into iTunes to change it there. No problem. The problem comes when on the iPhone i attempt to make a purchase. It doesn't like my password. I have no problems purchasing from within itunes. If i had to guess, the iphone still is looking for my old email address.

Has anyone heard of this?

Try syncing your phone from iTunes while logged in to your account and then try to purchase from the app store.

Just so we're on the same page...

iPhone plugged into system
iTunes opened
after sync purchase from iPhone while still connected

I'm pretty sure i did that, but not 100%, so when i get home i'll give it a whirl.
