Hello,
I'm not sure if my iMac has support for wireless internet. Best buy personel told me to get a wireless card. Also, how could I upgrade my iMac, so it can run faster?
Thanks for your help.

All iMacs have a wireless card.
You could add more Ram which will speed it up a bit.

Actually that should probably read all recent iMacs have a wireless card. Any model of iMac from the 20" G5 (without Ambient Light Sensor) back did not have them built in, but were available as an option at purchase.
Edit: now that I re-read the OPs title theirs does not have one unless it was optionally added. The first iMacs that had built in Airport cards shipped with OSX 10.4.
To the OP: Check your System Profiler (Apple menu at the top left of the screen--->About This Mac---->More Info button) and check on the list at the left under "Hardware" to see if there is an Airport card in yours.

list the model of iMac you have.
you can check in system profiler if you have a wireless card installed.
by telling us the model we can help you find what will work.
more ram always helps.
