Hi,
Myself owns a new MBP.
However, my gf asked me to install Windows XP on her bootcamp however, her MB disc drive does not work.
What can I do? Can I copy the setup file from the disc and put into USB??
Thanks for the help

You may well be able to do it by using Apple's Target Disk Mode (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661), booting up your Mac as in the link info which would allow hers to see your optical drive.
I honestly don't remember if Target Disk Mode sees your optical drive as it is normally used for hard drives, but I believe it does. If so your optical will just appear on her desktop as if it were installed in her machine. Worth a shot if you don't have an external optical drive laying around.

Yup, the optical drive of the target computer is seen as a mounted device as well. That's how I had to install Tiger on my G4 a few years back.
