Im planning on upgrading my RAM this week. I see that alot of the ddr2 800 ram that are cas 4 have heatsinks or heat spreaders attached to them..

Does anyone know how tight the fit is for the RAM and if these higher performance modules will fit in there? or if I should just go for some slower RAM that doesnt have that. thx

The iMac uses SO-DIMMs, laptop memory.

Don't think the heatspeaders would work on it due to the tighter space constraints.
