I was just about to purchase a new 20" iMac and I went to the Apple State/Local Goverment store to make my purchase. When I selected the 20" iMac it gave me a promotional savings of $250. So the 20" iMac only cost $1773!!!!!!!!!

Anyone ever heard of Apple doing this? Does this mean new iMacs are just around the corner?

Thanks.

It's still a good deal. The 20" Cinema Display is $1200 by itself. It's like you're getting the CPU for $600!!! ;)

SNIP

I really hope so but there have been so many false alerts for upgrades on all the lines that I wouldn't get too excited...:(
