Help me find a long lost favorite of mine!

it was a 2d overhead shooter with a character whose name was sam (I think) I believe he was battery powered and he would shoot dinosaurs and you could get all kinds of powerups. It was in the 90's when I would play it on my schools mac, it came packaged as a demo with mario teaches typing and a wolfenstein... Any help?

I know that game. I think it was called Power Pete. Or I could be wrong, it was put out by Pagon (spelled write? :confused: ) Software.
