I am looking at J&R Computerworld (jr.com) to pick up a new MBA (the 1.6/120HDD model). I know it isn't avail for a few more weeks... Getting it through this retailer, I am able to purchase it w/o sales tax and there is a 7% Live.com rebate -- incredible!!!

I then plan on getting Applecare via Amazon for $199... also no tax/shipping. This cuts a huge amount of cost versus getting through the Apple.com store... (I live in California).

I wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with this retailer and if there are any reasons why I should NOT go this route? Any things to look out for? Any situations that will be more difficult to take care of?

Thanks!!!!

I've never bought a computer through J&R, but I did buy a lot of home audio equipment with them, and didn't have any problems. The customer service was good, too, in my experience.
