Buying a used Macbook Pro from eBay US

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a near new or used Macbook Pro from eBay. I live in Australia however, there aren't many good computers available in the eBay AUS store. I checked the US eBay and there are quite a few that I am happy with.

What are the things that I need to look out for when I'm buying a US Macbook Pro? Are there any differences?

Do you get craigslist over there? Or a better site other than ebay?

We do but there aren't many Macs sold. And is spammed by products from China. There are 1 or 2 online trading sites similar to eBay here in Australia but again, there aren't many Macs available.

Just go with eBay. Check his feedback. Pay only via PayPal. Ask a few questions that would single out scammers.
