iPod touch Best Racing App !!!!!

Many people are looking for the best racing app so i made this thread for anyones questions about them.

Format:

Title
Stars (1-10, 10-best)
Review (pros & cons)




There are alot including:

Asphalt 4 Elite Racing
GTS World Racing
Black Mamba
Fastlane Street Racing
Automangle
Moto Chaser
Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart
Head2Head 3D Racing
Cro-Mag Rally
Raging Thunder
Pole Position Remix

It would be nice if we could review these all so people could have a better understanding of what is the best racing game.

I guess i'll start things off with a recently impressive app i tried called...

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart

This app is just amazing, for 5.99 wow, like a portable mario cart wii! If you have the money get it! If you dont, then go buy yourself an itunes card.

Pros:
3D
Smooth Frame rate
12 tracks
Different opponents and weapons
Controls are neat turn by turning Ipod
Good fun

Cons:
Graphics could be sharper
Turning is hard but learnable
Needs upgrade

first app I got on my Touch because it had gotten good reviews on ign mobile I think (like a 9 or something; how much did they get paid for THAT?!)

honestly, controls are horrible, it looks like a (crisp) PS1 game (and I can't handle that in 2008 going on 2009, sorry) and I haven't been compelled to play it more than twice.

now that NFS (?) game they demoed at the iPod event back in September, THAT looked hot. hope it turns out well.

so Asphalt 4 Pros:
none

Cons:
relatively lame graphics
horrible controls
zero fun
PRICE (9.99? 9.99 out the window)

edit: final score: 1/10

sorry, but the fact that I can play this on my iPod doesn't make it good.

Yeah i bought Asphalt 4 and it was ok but turning is not by moving the itouch, kinda dissapointed there, but yeah, waste of $$$
 
I wish we could try out apps aka demo or return apps bc I was a little disapponted with asp4 bc of all the good reviews. But really i can't get into racing games . They get boring real quick.
 
I think we gave Asphalt an 8. Judging games for a new device like iPhone is hard, because so much of it is down to people's expectations. So I do have sympathy for people who think the reviews are not matching their experiences.

If you like mobile racing games (i.e. you can accept a small screen, weaker controls, etc) then Asphalt 4, Crash Bandicoot or Cro-Mag Rally would be my suggestions for now.
