Wireless network question

So, its really annoying how when i close the screen, the network is disconnected. I looked through every menu i can find, and have yet to find something that will allow the network to stay connected no matter what.

Is there an option for this?

there is no way to disable that within OS X, since it automatically goes to sleep when the lid is closed.

however, if you download insomiax, you can disable sleep mode and have the computer running while the lid closed.

Make absolutely sure (in Preferences) that your network is set up as being default and that the password (if there is one) for it is saved.
