Reset my Unlocked 2G iPhone

I am kinda new here on this board. Anyway, i plan to sell my unlocked 2G iPhone to my friend. Before, i sell it to my friend, i have to reset to erase all the contents and settings.

My question is what if i reset my iphone, does it erase everything including the unlocked & jailbroken as well and go back to the locked iphone?? Thanks in advanced.

If you're asking whether going to SETTINGS>GENERAL>RESET>ERASE ALL CONTENTS AND SETTINGS will mean that the handset is no longer jailbroken/unlocked, then no it doesn't.
