I recently added some ringtones to my iphone, somehow when I assign to each contact (which is a pain) works fine, but as soon as I connect the iphone to my computer and sync I lose all the ringtone personalization, any idea why?

I have a personalized ringtone for my wife and I have no problems when I connect to the computer.

A full restore may help, I had another issue last week and did a restore and it solved that problem.

For a while now all of my personalized ringtones that I assign to specific contacts (mostly that I customized from Garageband) are regularly wiped out into the default ringtone, I think whenever it is syncing (with MobileMe?). It is soooo freakin' frustrating and there seems to be no answers or acknowledgment of the problem from the Apple website, other than a few other people venting about the same problem.

What is going on? Is anyone else experiencing this or do you have any idea if there is a fix?

I have no idea, it is really frustrating as assigning each ringtone is a pain, wipping them out like this is certainly annoying
