Hello,

I've setup my 500GB time-capsule as my main wireless router and it's working fine so far. I also want to extend the signal to other parts of the house and share a printer using an Airport Express.
I've been successful in getting the airport express to join the wireless network, but now I'm a bit confused with the type of setup I should be using. I've been reading about WDS, and I'm somewhat confused. I'm not using WDS - should I be using it?
The airport is set on wireless mode to "Extend a wireless network"; and I've entered the same information as my time capsule's wireless network.
Is this the right way to do it? How do I know the airport is actually extending the network and giving me better range?

Please advise. I am computer literate but have never attempted something like this before.

Thanks.
